Digging Press LLC is based in New Jersey. We publish chapbooks, a poetry series, and an online journal. We also produce a podcast and host a reading series in New York City.

Digging Press is an independent publisher with a strong commitment to fostering experimentation and cultural inclusion in the realms of literature and visual arts. We believe that diversity of voices and eclecticism are essential components of a vibrant creative landscape, and we provide a platform for such voices to thrive.

Our mission is simple: to champion the power of diverse perspectives and artistic expressions. We actively seek out works that challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and open new dialogues. Our goal is to amplify the voices of underrepresented communities and artists, making the literary and visual arts more inclusive and dynamic.

We are curating a listing of promising visual artists and their ONLINE portfolios for our Artist Spotlight feature this winter.

Visual artists should submit a link to their online portfolio (Instagram, website, web page, etc.) a short bio, artist statement, and three high-resolution .jpeg images that best represent their body of work via Submittable. Please DO NOT email submissions. We have a limited amount of space but will consider every submission. Open only to visual artists.

Last day to submit is March 31, 2024.

Accepted works will be promoted in our online journal, and at our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.

With permission from our contributors, we may include accepted works in promotional material for Digging Through The Fat and Digging Press, LLC.

We rely on donations and individual purchases to support our mission.  We appreciate any support you can give.

Please note: we offer free U.S.-only shipping with purchases through Submittable. International orders can only be fulfilled at our shop here.
